Tübingen

Tübingen is a historical university town with long-standing cultural and educational traditions. It lies on the banks of the River Neckar and is the geographical center of Baden-Württemberg.

Tübingen was once described as an “oasis of wellbeing” – a place to retreat, relax and enjoy life. Its 87,000 inhabitants and 28,000 students promote a unique atmosphere of tolerance and open-mindedness. The flair of a lovingly restored medieval city is combined with the excited bustle of student life to give the visitor a colorful impression of intellectual vigor and casual enjoyment.

But Tübingen has more to offer: Magnificent scenery, picturesque villages and an active cultural scene of museums, art galleries, theaters, cinemas and concert halls. Not to mention a wide range of outdoor activities (including punting trips up and down the river).
Tübingen is a popular location for businesses, in particular for companies operating in medical technology and biopharmaceutical branches. With its network of competence centers and research institutes it is now a major center for research and development.

You are sure to be enchanted by the spirit and the charm of this unique Swabian town.
